Used palio/sail

I'm looking for a used palio in bangalore. Is it better to try it at the dealer?

The fiat website seems to have gone down again!!

I'm also open for sail as an option?

Any reliable places / contacts in bangalore ?

I had a friend who was looking for a second hand Palio like you. After searching at a few places. He decided to get a new one.

Fiat pre-owned was charging him exorbitant rates.
There is one place in Kormangala.

The owner's name is Saddiq. You will have to go through the left at the Mahindra Showroom signal, after a 1 km, you would find a shopping mall. Fabmall (I guess).

This guys shop is in the basement.

Dealer's charge == 2% of the sale value
He also runs a garage where runs repairs and touch of the car to cover the car's flaws.

Get it tested by your mechanic. There is no one reliable. Trust the peolpe you know.
The rates are on the high side. BARGAIN...

Cheers,

i think you should definately look around for a good deal.. you can check out national motors behnd garuda mall, or keep a look out on the sunday car bazaars.. you can definately get good deals there.. be sure you take your mechanics before you close the deal and have the car inspected once..

I have been looking out for a used palio and have the following two offers.

1. 2002 (Dec) 1.2 ELX - Fully Loaded : 40K Km Single owner : Stock Tyres/Alloys : Original Sonly MP3 (3 year warrany just expired). Quote : 2.6L

2. 2003 GTX covnerted to CNG Kit . 20K+ KM : Stock Tyres 3L

I'm yet to look at them. Please advise on the above figures.

Also, Can someone share the info about when the NV was released in Bangalore? I suppose all NV's have a "NV" badge on them. Am i right?
I'm just checking to understand about the model changes on the palio.

PS: Was surprised to see a few 40K KM+ Palio Diesel's quoting 4L. Man, do they really demand such a price?

Get a Palio only if you can live with an FE of ~10 kmpl.

A Palio diesel is a great car to putter around in and keeps its value much better. If you do decide on a petrol, then look no further than the GTX. I'd stay far away from the 1.2s.

I'm not sure if there is a thread already on this. Please advice :

WHat are the factors i need to look while buying a used Palio.

I have seen a GTX : which has a CNG Kit. run about 25K Km. My thinnking is that the GTX would still be run on petrol for all its thrils and switched to CNG for city conditions.

Do you folks see any issues here? Request your comments before i go ahead with the buy.

The quote is 2.75 with the CNG Kit. What would be a good bargain here?
