Where to buy Mobil1 / Castrol Synthetic Oil in Mumbai?

unfortunately mobil1 is only available in 5W50 grade around here, and at least for Mumbai weather 15W50 (that shell sells) is much more appropriate. The wider the range, the more additives they put in the oil, so, at least in my opinion, its better to get oil for only the range of temperatures that you anticipate you will need.

that may be but since you cant find shell why not try mobil1. there are enough of people running it including me.

Thats true Akshay, I think I'll just do that. Other thing is that I've been too lazy to drive all the way to Opera House (some of us suburban folks dont go to 'town' so often).

Hello Guys,

am too lazy to drive down to town to pick up engine oil (plus the fuel is so expensive now)

I have been buying MOBIL oils from Vora automobiles- gives me home delivery of oil. You could call up on 9322670567 -Jayeshbhai Vora.

I have been use Mobil Delavac for my Swift - Diesel. Plan to use Mobil1 next time.

Thanks Milind for the contact. I orderd Mobil Delvac 1 5w40 for my Swift Diesel from him. I got it for 675 per liter. MRP written is Rs.880 and last time when I bought it in Pune I paid 850 per liter.

Yes. I stay in Kandivali west.

His shop is at Masjid Bandar near Crawford Market but he delivers it all over the Mumbai. Why don't you call him? I think he is ran out of old stock so when I got the oil 2 months back I had to pay 800 per liter (MRP written was 1000+).

Delivery is only till Dahisar.

Friends,
I am using Mobil1 (0W-40) in my car for last 70,000 KM. But now my local ASC is not providing me with this oil. May I use Castrol Edge (0W-40) oil in my car as a replacement? Please let me know.
