no demo. the car was just on display. i don't think it would have got the clearance from ATC to take off

@Praful - great shot of the F16 pilot, where were you located and what gear did use. It looks like you were on runway.
This is form my 2013 planning

hope to have a 150-500 by then.

can't afford the Canon big shots, so might settle for the Sigma (Bigma) new 50-500

I was in the general visitors area. I was standing close to fence near the runway. I used a 55-250IS for all shots. Gives decent reach, but not really the best for these kind of shots. All the best for your bazooka plans

For now I just need to save for a 10-22!

EDIT: There's a loss of details in most shots as I had to resize the pics using a s/w that I don't normally use!

you were using a 55-250?

man, i had the same lens at the show. were you using AI Servo or AI Focus for the in-the-air shots? i had a horrible time with the AI Servo missed quite a few shots because of that.

and finally switched to AI Focus and kept the trigger half pressed!

I usually use the One Shot AF, was trying out the AI Servo mode most of the time though. I still don't have the hang of the Servo mode as it was my first time. 95% of my shots are taken in One Shot.

EDIT: I actually noticed the pictures are loosing details once I upload them onto TBhp. TBhp is further compressing the pics! :(

What are the marks visible in blue sky in right side of your photos? Is that dust?

Oh ok. You meant dust on the lens.. I thought in the sky. I feel they are water like stains.

Gandhi, good observation there, Praful needs to clean his sensor, not the lens.
