What are the timings for it? Wouldn't it be cumbersome, stuck to a seat for such a long while? That's kinda why we prefer a train. We can move about and we'll get a proper berth too.

Yes, this is my second time by train and it's usually on time. Considering that it's summer vacations, the train will be completely booked.

It's a special train that runs Nagapattinam to Velankanni. Think it's also there from Nagore too.

Did you mean to ask the train timings from Nagapattinam - Velankanni? If so, am not sure about this. Think they operate based on the different trains that arrive at Nagapattinam.

Also, it's a short 20 mins drive to Velankanni from Nagapattinam.

I guess the bus will be the choice for us, given the need for an early arrival. We kind of plan to walk back on the beach from Velankanni to Nagapattinam. That'll take some time. But, I wonder how the seats on the bus are?
