Max distance covered in 24 hrs

hi all

wanted 2 start a poll to know how much distance have all of u covered in 24 hrs time. something like starting 8 in the morning till next morning 8. peroanlly i have done 900+kms in a qualis in a single day travel.

mumbai-mangalore,1000 kms in 12.5 hours in my mpfi zen ...from 3 in the morning

thats cool! the highway must be smooth for a 80+ kmph speed for 12.5 hrs.

yeah ....600 kms of that is on the nh4 GQ and teh remaining 400 kms is on good 2 lane highways

About 800+ Km's when we had taken about 7-8 cars for a test for a Mag... had a complete BLAST!!

i have done 850kms a day with my old m800 . journey from jaipur to sirsa(haryana). it was very tiring though. i dont recommend all day driving.

I dont know how much K.M it must be but i still remember i had started at 11.30am in morning from vaishnodevi in jammu & reached at Haridwar next day 10.00 am, that was in my first car which was a maruti 800 among my 4 friends, we had droved from mumbai to Vaishnodevi > haridwar>badrinath>corbett park>delhi>mumbai . That was a one of the longest trip i had ever

Cochin - Trichur - Coimbatore - Madurai - Rameswaram - Madurai - Trivandrum - Cochin. I dont remember but guess this was around 1400 km in my old M-800(- included some getting lost) .. all in 24 hrs!

Have done Hyderabad- Bangalore- Cochin in 24 hrs once in a car. Done the same twice on two wheels - once on my father's old Vespa 150 .. and the next on my kb100!! (took me 30 hrs and 26.5hrs respectively!!

Folks from Bangalore will rememebr this guy - I forget his name - who did Mumbai - Banglaore in around 12-13-14odd hours! that is an avg speed of some 100-110km/hr.. I remember news coverage - front page - touting how he has shaved some THREE hours off the train journey!!

And GET THIS PEOPLE - The best part - He did this on a SUZUKI FIERO!!!!!!

The whole thing at NIGHT !!! ... (GULP!!!)

Bangalore Nagpur. Started in evening, and by next envening, which included a 7 hour break had covered around 1000kms.
