It is an R1 manson. Haven't you seen the photographs in the papers? And the damage is mostly cosmetic.

didn't they mention the NOS set-up (borrowed from his fazer obviously) on his bike was responsible for the accident?

Well the news channels all mentioned he was riding a modified Yamaha bike

He rode an R6 only till the time he got the R1. His MT01 is also expected soon

This morning in one of the Bombay RAGS I read it was a Yamaha HAYABUSA.. so I guess the media along with INVENTING situations have now gone on to inventing VEHICLES...

They ve surely got a pr contract for John s bike, they seem more excited about his bike here.
Btw, forgot to mention this earlier, but he did knock down someone i know a couple of years back.
