Has anyone used Zoomcar in North Goa recently?

I've not booked recently with Zoomcar, the last time was in 2021 in Pune and it was fairly OK.

Looks like Zoomcar now offers insurance coverage for accidental damage. This is the only reason I am considering taking Zoomcar over a local rental guy.

From a price POV, Zoomcar and local rental agencies are exactly the same, the only difference is that Zoomcar has insurance coverage.

I was in Goa in the last week, but booked a car through a local agency, well, Vailankanni to be specific

The benefit of choosing local agency is that you can personally check out a car before taking the delivery.

If you are booking in advance for pick up from airport, and find some issues with the car, local agencies will most probably provide you with another (better) car easily. I highly doubt that is possible with zoomcar.

Thanks, I did face the issue of non-contactable customer care during my last rental. But the situation self-corrected itself before it could have gotten worse.

I guess I will go with the recommended local rental agency instead of Zoomcar and hope that some drunk !d!0t does not cause any issues.

Theft to the Govt exchequer aside, insurance would not have covered any claim if this car got into an accident.

If ZoomCar is promoting this and getting away with it, then it's likely they have a politician backing them.

Very true, giving another perspective to this, what if this car owner has decided to sell, and unsuspecting buyer will assume the car is driven only by one person
