We really get all types in India, don't we? The things people will do for publicity. Seriously, how stupid. His gearbox has 4 ratios for reverse, and a single for moving forward. The way he uses his car, it's a rare combination of front wheel drive, rear-mounted engine and rear wheel steering

. What's worse, while being a public nuisance, he further annoys others with an ambulance siren

Claims he now suffers from neck & back problems. Duh!

I think the RTO should give him a final warning. If he continues driving in reverse, just cancel his licence.

Your field of view is so limited while you are reversing, you can't see what's coming on the extreme left of your vision. Someone is going to get hurt real bad if this goes on.

He appears demented! He says once his car was stuck in the reverse gear and he drove to his house in reverse.

He felt confident and since then he got this idea.
WHY Mr Anderson WHY??

And how can a fool like him or for that matter any non ambulance car is allowed to set ambulance siren? It happens only in India.

If you also notice the escort/pilot car, white zen has black tints which again is illegal.

Uff !. We get all kinds of such morons, and all this for some cheap publicity and to make sure there are enough and more people who can "Talk" about them. And here, we end up doing precisely that and give these guys more publicity.

1) Cancel the licence of this stupid person.
2) Sack those people who gave him special permission.

I think its one of those loop holes. Do we have any rules in MV Act specific to reverse driving? This special permission he is talking about sounds bogus.

Notwithstanding the (il)legality of what he is doing, and the consequent justified remonstrances from our esteemed members; I was just wondering, why could he not have gone about this, using a combination of Mirrors and Rear View Camera, like we all use on a regular basis?
Surely, that would have helped keep his neck straight, while giving him a much better view of the road and obstructions behind, than sticking his neck out like a Canine!
