Got my car back today.
[EDIT]: Please read this post as if I posted it on Saturday, 31st January. I started composing this reply just before midnight and hence the reference
'today' (31st). When I clicked the submit button, its already 1st Feb.
Actually, I had got a call from the SA on Wednesday (28th) and I went to pick up my car on Thursday (29th)morning. However, the car was still in the paint room and I was told that they themselves noticed some improper painting in the boot door and so were repainting. I was asked if I could pick up my car by evening. I couldn't (rather, didn't prefer to) go in the evening and went on Friday (30th).
I did one round of inspection and was satisfied - paid up the amount (post-insurance) and the car was brought out to the delivery area. Everything was set for me to start and I was doing another round of inspection. It was then that I noticed some "not-so-good" paint-job in the inner side of the boot door. The paint drip marks were visible in the corners of the boot door (only inner side). I told the SA that I'm not going to take the car and want them to fix the issue. He called up his manager and both of them apologized and assured me to fix it up by the evening. I again told them to take their time (actually, I had been telling the SA to take his time in fixing - but wanted the car to be back in good condition). By evening, I got a call from them confirming that the car is ready.
Went today by around 5p.m. with wife and kid.
Inspected thoroughly and was satisfied.
While driving back home, noticed a couple of stuff
- Wheel alignment is not to my satisfaction. When I take off my hand from the steering, the car drifts slowly to the right.
- Right rear door is rattling. I feel the door has lost its weight - I mean, it feels a bit hollow and there is a rattling sound when I give a soft punch/knock on the door-pad area.
- There is an uneven gap between the boot door (which is new) and the left tail-lamp. The gap between the boot-door and the right tail-lamp is even.
Will be taking the car back to ABT over the next week to fix these. I believe, the first two points can be attended to easily while I'm not sure what could be done for the third point. However, I should also say that it is only Team-BHP that has spoilt me
to look at this level. To a naked eye of a non-enthusiast, the third point I have mentioned would not even be visible that easily. My dad did not see that till I pointed him out.

Saket, You were on target. The left rear wheel had bent rim and it was changed.
Photos - I reached home by around 6:30 and it was getting dark and so, couldn't click any. Will click a few photos tomorrow and post it.
Settlement - I informed the person of the bill by phone today and suggested that we meet in person. He came in the late evening - showed him the bill and also discussed about the NCB. We have sort-of arrived at an amount and he would be coming back tomorrow to settle it. Once everything is done, will let you all know (though I would NOT divulging the numbers here and I hope you can understand). And, as of today, both of us are happy.
Cheers!
