On an average we hit a destination more than once a month. Atleast one outing is with entire family in the car and now a days one weekend trip is with the jeep.

More than once a month for me. If there are two consecutive weekends that i dont go anywhere, i go into a huge withdrawal syndrome, and then, head out for a breakfast or lunch atleast, and do about 100 KMs on the highways

Mostly, i hit the highways to visit my hometown, and we also, as a family manage a lot of day trips.

Voted for option 1. I have a farm around 120 Kms from Bangalore and I go there atleast twice a month. I frequently use to Bangalore - Hyderabad highway for these trips.

I do usually hit the highway once in 3 months now but the usual jaunt on highways was 2 times a month. Missing the same as work demands have changed😣

I make sure I do a ride at least once in two months, if possible once a month.
To see different scenery and open roads makes it relaxing and much needed. I try to do new routes or routes I haven't done in years each time.

With my highway buddy gone, I am not sure if I can keep up the frequency with my 1lak plus run Enfield 350.
Highway trips in the car are an average of once a year and limited to family trips to native.

I used to hit the highways more often when i was a student (the frequent trips to Mangalore and Coorg), frequency would be twice a month roughly. After joining the usual herd of IT industry it has reduced significantly, probably to an extent where the last time I was on a highway was 6 months back.

Staying in the vicinity of the Airport road does make me touch the highway often. But apart from that the actual long distance highway journeys are quite less hence voted for Once in 3 months.

I usually visit Vizag or Vijayawada, both of which are about 200 kms north & south, every second saturday or so for family outing (catching a hindi movie ) and come back the same day to Rajahmundry. Been doing that for about 3 years now.

I seldom use car in town except when it pours cats and dogs.

Ninety percent of my car's running is outstation, though considerable number of kilometres are on ruroafroads. Even the highway running is mostly confined to either Hyderabad or Vijayawada. Once a year I go to Sabarimala, which is about 3000 kilometres round trip.

I have done about 5 lakh plus km driving since 1997.Now I am 42 and I still hate to use car in towns and cities. For me, ideal travel is by two wheeler within cities.

In my younger days, I used to travel intercity on bike. I had done couple of lakh kilometres on bike. But I have stopped doing it since the last six years or so.

I have to admit I drove my Nano much more on the highways than the Accord. Of late it's been too busy in the personal and professional life to hit the highway.

We hit the highway at least once a month. And we don't consider Bangalore - Mysore in this list as this is more of a extended city run these days due the traffic and speed breakers.

Every alternate weekend

I do this to enjoy the pleasure of riding. Being stuck on long city jams in the morning inch by inch to reach office and the same inch by inch reaching home. So during the weekends, head out to a maximum of 60-70 kms one way either early in the morning to catch up for breakfast or during afternoons to catch up for some evening snacks and end the day with memories.

Considering holiday trips it would be once a month since I don't get much time off work.

Work based travel includes Mysore and Shimoga so that would increase it to about 4 times a month. I really need to hit the highways more often.

I live nearby the Noida - Greater Noida Expressway which connects the Yamuna Expressway. So, for me, its more than once a week.
