On the topic of such statistics:

• If only cars came with a counter for the number of times the clutch pedal was pressed, I'm sure most of us in <insert your metro> will beat everyone else hands down.
• I do wish that we had a gear-shift counter (like F1 used to show), just to get an interesting stat of how many gear changes were required in a trip. That will indirectly indicate the amount of deviation we have had from our average speed.

I got my car DL at the end of 2014 (i just turned 19 &#128514, driven maybe 12k kms since then, dont have a figure, since we have multiple cars in the family.
In MH, 2 wheelers without gear are allowed at 16, got it in oct 2012. Rode a suzuki access for 21k kms.
So a total of maybe 33k kms, out of which 2-3k was on the highways.

Looks like im the lowest here.

Here are my numbers:

Bajaj Pulsar, my first ride - 38000
Maruti Zen VX, my first drive - 12000
TVS Wego, my short stint with scooter - 2000
Maruti WagonR VXI, my trustworthy friend - 54000
RE TB350, my recently acquired childhood dream - 3000

It has never come across my mind as to how many kilometers I had driven/ridden. These are things which we least bother to keep a track just like how we do not track the amount someone spends for cigarettes. But the numbers speak otherwise. I have clocked 1,09,000 kilometers till date.

I did not even had a clue that I would have driven more than 1 lakh kilometers, which works to 9083 kilometers per year since the last 12 years I am driving. The average per day works out to 25 kilometers! This is a very huge number for me, given that I have never travelled more than 5 kilometers for office and not made many road trips (can be counted with fingers in the hands and legs)

Previous Car Getz : 25,000 ( 20008-2010 )
Current car Scorpio : 81,000 (2011-till date )
friends / inlaws car(s) : 5,000 ; Total :1,11,000 kms

Two wheeler : licence in 1998:
Splendor : 65,000
Thunderbird since 2009 : 51,000
Total : 1,16,000

Total kms on road : 2,27,000 , touchwood till date no incidents except 2 falls from bike at slow speeds.

Yamaha FZ-S : 32,000 kms
Hero Honda Karizma : 10,000 kms
Royal Enfield Classic 500 : 38,000 kms

So totally I have ridden approximately 1,42,000 kms on two-wheelers over the last 7 years.


On 4-wheelers

Hyundai Santro Xing : 30,000 kms
Honda City i-DTEC : 10,000 kms

So totally I have driven approximately 40,000 kms on four-wheelers over the last 7 years.

Total riding + driving = 1,82,000 kms approx over the last 7 years, i.e, approximately 70 kms a day on an average.

Anyways one thing worth noting Jacksons seems to be spending a royal time on the steering wheel so much it should resemble an extended arm by now.

well, retrospecting about KMs driven brought a huge smile on my face, I'm just recollecting those lovely days of attempting to kick dad's splendor, trying to grab bike keys from dad's pant pockets, ramming into street ends... thanks for the thread.

Till date I rode/driven around 1,20,000kms from 2003 onward. Now a days every weekend Hyderabad to Vijayawada and back to Hyderabad clocks 1000km min. So soon to expect crossing 1,50,000Kms mile stone.

Grand Total : 3,28,900 kms since 1995.

Had to go back to 1979 when i got my license. Though i had been driving my dads Lambretta, Vespa since 1971 but official figure starts from 1979. Here is a conservative estimate.

Dads Scooters : 25000 kms (on the minimum side)
Yezdi Classic : 58000 kms ( for sure)
Bullet meri jaan : 14000 kms
Kinetic Honda : 48000 kms ( for sure)
FIAT 1977 : 20500 kms
FIAT 1981 : 32000 kms ( for sure)
Maruti 1989 : 11000 kms
Maruti 2007 : 4500 kms ( for sure)
Matiz 1999 : 95000 kms ( very sure)
Creta : 3400 kms
This totals a little over 300000 Kms
In addition in the forces most of the time in east and Leh, my driver was seated next to me so can safely add around 75000 kms in 27 yrs

I am astounded by the result approx 375000 kms on the road. Not bad. Lets see when can i hit the 500000 kms mark

Mine is a paltry 27K in 2 years (2010-12) of car usage and 20K in bike (was in daily usage for 2 years in 2008-2010 and then rare usage). That's a depressing 47K in total. Some 5K miles in approximately 110 days in US.
