High beams, Honkings and slow moving vehicles irritates me a lot.

LOL! In Ahmedabad, you need to look for another body part - the feet. You will routinely see the auto drivers hanging out their left or right foot to indicate the direction they are intending to go to!

Driving in rain at night.

Bad roads, potholes and speed breakers that come without warning. I hate driving around the potholes, specially at night, and hoping the traffic following you also stops, reduces speed and understands and follows my evasive maneuvers and don't hit my ride.

Missing warnings, speed limits, road signs in India and google maps not knowing everything about indian roads or not being able to connect to google maps for a new location hunt - I don't particularly have a great sense of direction and hence this is a pressing issue for me

Knowing that indian law enforcement is non existent and the helpless feeling of being a sitting duck in case of anything untoward happening during my drive is a constant fear for me

Good thread you started here Rajeev, I started thinking/talking about my fears though I live with them everyday

Few things which I hate to do but am forced to do are:
1) overtaking through the left side
2) start rolling the vehicle before the signal turns green, due to excess honking of other vehicles
3) turning on high beam

My wife and I have driven on our NHs from Gurgaon to Kanyakumari, also nine out of twelve districts of HP in the last six months. Besides the other points mentioned above, what has consistently annoyed us is that drivers are using their mobile phones while driving their vehicles. This includes even truck drivers too.

'Most' drivers do not know that flashing-lights on your IRVM (and specifically on the driver side ORVM) just means that somebody wants to overtake you at night.
Honking is the only way out, even if you don't want to.
