Stay away from IDFC bank fastags. My account is overwritten by some other fellows car details and name, address and even phone number. I am able to see the goof up since I have the web login id and password.

My balance is getting deducted!!

Raised a written and telephonic complaint. As usual guys are clue less.

I have called the NEXA showroom, Electronic City, Bangalore regarding availing Fastag for existing customers. They have informed me that I need to visit their showroom along with the proofs, photo and a form needs to be filled. They said I will be able to get the tag in one or two days.

faced a problem of cashback being debited from my account (instead of credited) for the month of September 2017. Worked correctly for August and later December / January 2018.

The NEXA dealer fitted a fastag on our car as per current norms.

However, I forgot to ask them, how do I actually access its account. Like where can I login, recharge or see the statement.

I know in case of HDFC fastag, its visible inside the website itself. But in this case, I don't have any ID/password.

But there will be a customer ID attached to each right ? Do you have the entire laminated strip or just the chip patch ?

Here in Telangana, few of the Toll Gates have FASTag offices attached to them. So, even if you want FASTag on the go, you can halt at any of the identified toll gates and approach the office to get one on the spot. Heard from NHAI office in Hyderabad about it.

Check with them and get it registered in any of the designated toll gates in your location if you happen to pass by.

Anyone using HDFC tag? My uncle's new car comes with an HDFC tag from the showroom. Got mixed reviews from the thread, but mostly related to getting an HDFC tag.

It's a HDFC branded tag, has a 16 digit barcode on the inside (side you can see from within the car) and a customer care number.

No other details has been provided.

HDFC's website asks for RFID Number, Vehicle Number as well as a Wallet ID (which they mention, is sent in the Welcome Emailer). I do not have the Wallet ID, so cannot sign up on their page either.

I recently got an HDFC tag and it works well. Their customer care number is always busy as reported here by many others. They mention that they have sent out wallet ID and everything with the mailer but all they send is the tag and a piece of paper with instructions on how to paste the tag correctly.

The wallet ID & customer ID are sent as an SMS to the mobile number supplied when applying for the tag (I had applied online and got a message saying tag is activated and also my customer and wallet ID).

If Nexa did not charge you for this, better to shift to ICICI.

Will be calling them up tomorrow morning. It only struck my mind today, had totally forgotten about it during delivery the day before.

They have charged me Rs 500 for the same already.

After my horrible experience with Paytm Fastag and it's customer care for five times, I have applied online for ICICI Fastag and got it delivered with in a week.
Before that, my Fastag order in Paytm was rejected and refunded five times with out any intimation or reason .
My experience with ICICI Fastag application process is excellent .
Have to wait and see how the tag works at toll gates.
