Team-BHP - Cox & Kings launches self-drive holiday packages

Cox & Kings has introduced self-drive holiday packages in India called 'Self-Drive 365'. It offers road trip packages in India and outside. The package comes with various customization options and a selection of cars and bikes to choose from. Cox & Kings will also provide end-to-end trip planning and a support crew to provide 24x7 assistance in case of an emergency.

Travellers can choose between a variety of destinations in different countries including India, USA, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The service enables travellers to customize their trip based on terrain, experiences, activities and the route of choice. Further, there is a list of high-end sedans, SUVs and motorcycles to choose from for every destination. Some of the international routes include 'The USA - The Great Pacific Drive', 'Spain - Spanish Tango' and 'Ireland - The Wild Atlantic Drive'. The Indian road trips include 'Heart of the Himalayas', 'Into the Tiger's Lair' and 'East Coast Life'.

Self-Drive 365 will provide a detailed road trip guide to all travellers. Documentation, accommodation, insurance and trip itinerary will also be managed by the company.

Most of us here in T-BHP would welcome this, as we are the elite few who prefer to be at the helm wherever we go. I am especially looking forward to the travel itineraries in India, and would surely opt for it, if it makes sense over hiring a Zoomcar from that destination.
I wonder where they are planning to source cars and bikes for this. Owning a fleet just for this doesn't make much sense, so maybe they have a tie-up with some of the self-drive rental service providers?

We already have enough self-drive rental car companies and emergency support is great by companies such as Sixt.

Unless the self-drive packages are cheaper, why would anyone go to Cox & Kings? One can always browse the net to choose between readymade itineraries.

Am I missing something?
