As a Bangalorean who've seen the "horror before" and "sanity later" after you launched the "Drive without Borders" initiative, many like me would be deeply indebted to you for a job that we didn't have the gumption to do.

These atrocities called RTO/MVD and state-taxes are cash-cows for every state, but here in Bengaluru the otherwise ineffective traffic police took matters to a different level. Circa 2005, I was going to hospital to get my sick kid of 2years treated, along with wife riding pillion; the traffic "police" didn't spare me even then, made me pay Rs.200/- bribe

Get well soon Waseem Bhai. You have a lot more to do. I'm sure you will not let this one incident hold you back. If anything, this should bolster your campaign and help get more people involved in this fight.
