The man's been on a single handed crusade to eliminate potholes in Bangalore besides suing the RTO about their high handed collection of re-registration fees for out of state vehicles within a month, and his two wheeler came a cropper on a pothole causing spinal surgery to the tune of 2 lakh rupees.

Horrible news! BBMP is the most unscrupulous organisation out there. Roads everywhere are full of potholes that aren't getting fixed and hurting people. Maybe it's time to write some un-parliamentary language on each pothole abusing BBMP to get them to fix it.

For the kind of road tax and property tax we pay in Bangalore, we should expect world class roads. Forget world class, at least we need basic safety man.

Not just BBMP, BWSSB is also to blame for the large scale digging up of roads all over Bangalore, just today I noticed that Gitanjali Layout in HAL 3rd Stage has been dug up by BWSSB to replace water pipes. The roads here were just asphalted a few months ago with a new top layer!
