Re: Our hero - Dhanush Menon - helps Karnataka Flood victims

Respect to you and your team for the commendable work done Dhanush. I always admire and respect our armed forces.
We as civilians did a modest part from our offroading group Assam Offroaders by carrying flood relief materials in our own vehicles collected through our own donations and friends and family in flood affected villages in Kaziranga, Assam.

Re: Our hero - Dhanush Menon - helps Karnataka Flood victims

It's easy to sit on this side and give a like, but I can understand the palpation and the seriousness that each and every rescue has behind it. A mere thank you won't suffice. If it wasn't for the Indian Army as a whole, our lives would have been termed as "damned" beyond fathom.

God bless each and every personnel of the Army, may he give you the strength and courage that you guys muster forever.

Bless you all.

Cheers!

Cmdr Dhanush,

Ningal Muthanu Bro! (Non Malayalees kindly excuse).

I am reminded by a quote by Thomas Merton.
Pride Makes us Artificial and Humility makes us Real

It would be an honor to meet you and shake your hand.

Hats off Dhanush Menon for helping people in need. If possible could you share some way this can be prevented in the future especially flooding due to dams gates being opened?

Jai Hind.

Hat off to Dhanush and all the heroes of the various forces. They have really helped our people in need.
It must be very tough working with improper sleep, unexpected problems cropping up all through. Professional excellence shining through.

I presume all operations were under visual flying control rules with despatchers co-ordinating on VHF/UHF radio.

Thanks a lot Vijay. I'm sure that by "Army" you meant the Armed Forces.

Thanks a lot Raghu. It indeed is difficult to translate the Mallu analogy you penned above. So let's leave it at that.
Something like "kilometres and kilometres from Washington DC to Miami Beach.

Thanks a lot Maddy. I am no expert to suggest means to prevent something like this in future. So, I guess it's better not to comment on that.
