Thanks for making our day/evening. :) I work in BCBP which is near MahadevPura and thankfully isn't so bad as yet. But I see it coming here as well. Two new towers getting operational and we will very soon have 15,000 cars coming out in peak evening hour. So we can all imagine how it will be. The main problem with these tech parks such as Ecoworld and Ecospace is the number of exits and how many can exit. Also if you are exiting to a service road then only one car can actually touch the service road of ring road! Now if there are some 30-40 thousand vehicles in Ecoworld and they connect the ring road one by one, its simple maths how much time we will burn in getting out of the tech park. There has to be multiple exit points. The sooner the tech parks looks into it, the better. Till then the commuters have to suffer.

Amazing write up ! You should try your career now in motivational speaker arena ! :)

Very well written.

As a resident of Chennai, I had been to Ecospace once - to attend few work related meetings which for whatever reason was scheduled in Bengaluru office and to top it up in the building inside Ecospace.

People had come from all the other major cities in India to attend this meeting and the first hour was spent talking about the traffic and how much time they had to spend to reach the office from their hotels which were all nearby. The attendees from Bengaluru office had our sympathies.

Hilarious...in fact you could replace Ecoworld with any other work location on ORR, Whitefield or EC and you could still say the same things!!! Not sure how long before this lifestyle starts showing its ill effects. I am happy that there are almost no avenues to buy firearms in India, else every road rage in ORR and such places would have made breaking news!!!

Haha. Thanks for this hilarious read at this lazy Friday evening. I am from Hyderabad and never visited Bengaluru. No matter how bad is the traffic situation there, people settled over there has immense love for that place and always say "Namma Bengaluru".

BTW this was the scene inside my apartment, leave ORR alone.

Almost fell off my chair looking at the photo. :uncontrol

You make us feel lucky :) (in CHD if you drive for 45 minutes in any direction, you'll likely be out of city limits :))

Spent 2 weeks in electronic city (BLR) last month, with few visits to other parts of city and the commute was exasperating, to say the least. Not that its BLR only, similar patterns can be experienced from Metros as well (replace the names/locations with NCR region and you'll have pretty much the same picture)

Oh boy, hope you got a good hike. ( now you understand why they might have given it )

Welcome to Bangalore and looking forward to your active contribution in traffic woes thread.lol:

Working in ecospace for the last 6 years now and can totally relate to it. I make sure to check the internal roads from my office building inside PRITEC and then check Google maps for commute time and then start.. almost always after 10.. no point being stuck in traffic for 2 hrs which can otherwise be spent doing work or light reading.

Haha... Very funny... Been stuck in these famous jams more than what I would have liked...:Frustrati
Being a resident of APR... I've learnt not to get out of this place in the evenings, unless it's an emergency. If you can leave early and come early.. You'll see the traffic always in the opposite direction.. So you are saved.

Thanks guys. Glad you all liked it. Never expected that it'll be so famous, I have got it as forwards on WhatsApp in many groups already. Hope the builder pays me some hefty amount for the publicity!

Right, It all boils down to traffic in Blore. However, I'm not new to it, having spent close to 4 years in Blore. I knew what I was getting into.
stupid:

A more apt title would have been "13 reasons why....":uncontrol and I am quite sure you could have given 2 more reasons!

But yeah EcoWorld is a pain. I agree with all the points mentioned by OP :thumbs up
