This is a lesson for all of us.

This looks like a similar incident from a tamil film. COmedian Vadivelu will vouch and guarantee for a biker who wants test ride and that test rider will vanish with the comedian in lurch.

I could not stop laughing after reading this, but why didnt one of them go with him on the bike.

They screwed up the baisc rule of giving test drives. It is not that this is a new method of stealing, but most often no one gives the vehicle to a stranger.

Reminds of an incident happened in Coimbatore years back. Near a cycle stand at the Annapurna hotel at Gandhipuram in Coimbatore a young man asked the beat policeman standing there to help him load his cycle in an autorickshaw. Apparently he had lost the key of his cycle and wanted to carry it in the auto to the nearest cycle repairing place. Most obligingly the policeman helped the hapless man. Only about 15 minutes later everyone there realized the smooth operation when the owner turned up and created a huge fuss.
