sanket,
that was cooooooooooool.1200kms in 15hours .
did u drive alone .seems like u did not take any stops.
and i was thinking that my 14 .5 hrs for 997kms to mangalore in my zen was terrific.but i did take my pee stops and pit stops for food and rest.
and i am the only 1 who drives.

next time whenever u drive from bangalore ,take adetour on the nh63 ankola road ,u will never forget it.

I've had many long drives but if I remember the latest one is from B'lore to Hyderabad and thats about 600-700kms and did that in 6 hrs flat. Doing 175kmh most of the way and the conditions were perfect. We stopped once for a pee and had only chocolates to eat otherwise no other stops.

My *longest drive was from Chennai-Bangalore 330 km or so in my Alto VX *in 5.5 hrs .
Took the road via chitthoor and kolar . The Kolar stretch is great as *there are some amazingly straight stretches where you can safely floor the accelarator.

I have done chennai - pondicherry a number of times. Around 150 km on the East coast beach way .

longest -? not on a single day but over 25 days actually - kind of a road trip with another "tripper" friend - all the way from melbourne to brisbane with stopovers at sydney, coff's harbour, surfer's paradise, gold caost and a lot of other smaller places. you would not believe it but australia has a town named "mangalore" "the best days of my life"

Here is my longest trip so for.
We drove in 950 miles (~1500 kms) in little over 16 hrs in east coast. Reaching the southern most point of Continental US ==== KeyWest , Florida.

It was fun to drive and was driven by couple of drivers including me.

Time includes pit stops all the way with Max speed 125mph (200kms).

Thanks,
Kottee
