Longest Drives!

My longest single journey non-stop (with breaks) would be from Malviya Nagar, Jaipur to Himmatnagar in Gujarat in a single day in a Fiat Punto 1.2 Actve. Hoping to get longer and longer ones!

My longest drive was Delhi -> Manali -> delhi approx 3600Km. Apart from that I have done multiple trip from delhi -> Dharamsal-> Delhi approx 1300 KM and Delhi -> Manali- Delhi. delhi- Amritsar-Delhi. Delhi -> Kota -> Delhi.

My longest solo drive (more than once) with 2 breaks has been Bangalore to Pune which is 900 kms approximately. Not very long considering the once already reported by few members. I would love to do more but lots of other factors other than me and my car become very pre-dominant and prevent me.

My longest drive to-date is Rajahmundry to Goa & back via Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Gulbarga, Belgaum.

Total distance traveled approx. 2600 kms (as per odometer).

Driving time was 4 days (plus 4 days stay at Goa).

My longest trip: mumbai-banglore-kozhikode. And back. 1450km one way. In roughly 26-28hours driving time spread over two days.

Have done this trip in my Swift two years ago, as well as my Duster last year. Another one coming up in a few weeks.

My longest Trip: Pune-Amboli-Sawantwadi-Vengurla-Malvan-Sawantwadi-Amboli-Pune around 500 kms one way and spread over 4 days. It was my faithful Maruti 800 back then. I had planned to go to Pune-Tadoba-Pune in the Fiesta but the plan couldn't materialize.

Mumbai to Delhi via Surat, Baroda, Ahemdabad, Udaipur and Jaipur. While coming back I took Agra, Jhansi, Vidisha, Bhopal, Indore, Nashik, Mumbai route. Total distance 3100 KMs.

While Going Delhi I was with family but coming I was alone, both times solo driver.

Hai there!
I have done Delhi - Nagpur in one day in May 2014. Distance 1150 kms. Took the north south corridor. Started at 4 0 a.m and reached Nagpur at 8.30 p.m. Th car was Maruti Sx4. As a policy I did not exceed 120 kmph, though the road condition was very good after Jhansi. Safety and well being of family takes precedence over thrill. Took a wrong turn just before Nagpur and drove another 50 kms extra due to the mistake. Total driving distance was actually 1200 kms. Another drive was from Pune to Mount Abu in 2010. This was in a seven year old Maruti Van. Started from Pune at about 7.00 in the morning and reached Mount Abu at about 10.00 at night. Avg speed was around 80 kmph only.The distance was around 975 kms.

My longest drive was Gurgaon to Mumbai spead across two days. I drove solo, started at 4 am from Gurgaon and reached Baroda by 7pm. Since I was driving alone, took an overnight break in Baroda. Next morning after a leisurely breakfast, left for Mumbai and reached at 4pm. What a drive it was...
Still crave for more!

My recent drive of 1980.4 km from Wild Grass, Kaziranga National Park to Ginger, Bhubaneswar via Pavapuri and Bodhgaya in 48.67 hours including breaks for food, refuelling, sleep and sightseeing was my longest one without any overnight stay in-between.

My single longest drive - all in one stretch, with breaks was from Udaiapur to Pune. This was on our return leg after our vacation at Rajasthan. The entire 3800+ KM + of this trip was done by me, and the last marathon leg of return from Udaipur to Pune was one single run.

My longest drive was from Johannesburg to Durban and back. I was the only one who drove out of 4 who actually travelled. Started during easter weekend. Total distance was around 1500kms ( joburg->durban->joburg itself is 1200kms). Our ride was a rented Hyundai Getz 1.4 Prime.

On 4 wheels: Princeton, NJ to San Jose, CA. Approximately 3100+ miles over 3.5 days (Total driving time 43+ hours).

On 2 wheels: Gurgaon-Jaipur-Abu Road-Mehsana-Abu Road-Jaipur-Gurgaon. Precisely 1680 kms in 1 day (total riding time 22 hours).
