My longest single day drive was tirupati -kolhapur -pandharpur...started at 6 in the morning reached pandharpur at 1200 in night with 1 hour at kolhapur.
total distance covered was close to 1050 kms.

COIMBATORE TO BELGAUM 900 Kms in 14 hrs with 4 pit stops for lunch, dinner, tea and a bio break (lost 3 hrs). Discovered that overspeed alarm comes up at 150 kmh in XUV5OO in this trip.

Longest drive I did in one stretch was Goa to Chennai in 2014. Distance was almost 1000KM and with 8AM start, it took around 14 hours to complete the journey with regular food and bio breaks in between.

Apart from this, I do regular drives to my hometown, which is at a distance of around 800KM.

My Longest is Thane-Kollur approx 850 kms and took around 13 hours or so. Started at 6 AM in the morning and reached the destination around 7 PM in the evening.

My longest drive would be Baroda to Noida way back in 2010, this stretch was done on my return trip from Goa. Don't remember the Kms though apprx 1000+ but we started at 0800 from Baroda and I reached home at 0600 the next morning

My longest drive was from Capetown to Johannesburg in South Africa.
I started at around 7am and it took me approx. 15 hours including 4 breaks for the 1400 kms. That was back in 2013.
I was driving a VW Polo sedan (Vento in India), Petrol, AT, 90kW. A memorable journey in a comfortable car.

My longest drive so far has been San Francisco to Washington DC. It was approx 3000 miles or nearly 5000 Kms. It took 5 days with nightly stops at hotels along the way. The vehicle was a Toyota Prius.

In India my longest drive was Delhi to Goa way back in 1993 on a Bajaj Stride sccooter. That took 7 days with nightly stops as well!

My longest drive is Bangalore to Thane. 1035 KMs and took around 16 hours.

Just completed Delhi-Jabalpur-Delhi in my Tata Nano last week.

Delhi-Jabalpur- 870 kms done in 14 hrs and 20 min.
Jabalpur-Delhi- 870 kms done in 15 hrs and 18 min.

Kolhapur to Mysore, around 700Km, roughly 10hours in a Ford Figo 1.4 TDCi with 4 adults and 2 kids
Mysore was a stop over and then we drove to Ooti the next day.
Although longest would be Mysore -> Bangalore -> Kolhapur on our way back as we wanted to avoid those bumps on the interior roads, took almost 12 hours.

My longest drive in a single stretch would be Bhilai to Bangalore, the one I did in the Diwali week of 2015. Started from Bhilai at about 5am in the morning and reached Bangalore at about 11pm. Covering roughly 1400kms in about 18hrs. The roads in the entire stretch are fantastic. This was in Grand i10 petrol.

Longest drive/day was last week drive ,
Shirdi->Pune->Bangalore covering 1050kms in about 15 hrs with multpile stops.

My longest drive was from Mumbai to Bareilly(UP) last year. I completed the run in two days covering a total distance of approximately 1600 Kms.

The answer is NO. :-) my mistake. Actually that Polo was 77kW. This was back in early 2013 and i got confused with a jetta that i also had breifly.

Back to the topic, since some people have also used breaks in calculating the drive distance, my longest drive then is the same trip as above but including the overnight stays. I clocked approx 4000kms driving from Johannesburg through Port Elizabeth, The Garden Route (Plattenberg Bay, Knysna, George), Capetown and back to Johannesburg.
