Maybe owned by some powerful person, else this cannot escape the eyes of the cops.

Re: Take a look at this number plate!!

Vehicle regn portability is not offered in Punjab right?

I was psyched when i saw an old regn no: for a Brand new Civic in Agra. Later found that Haryana MVD offers such a scheme.

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

not necessarily a bad driver (he wasn't driving rash or anything), but the very fact that he has made out the number plate in a confusing font makes me wonder if it was accidental or deliberate.

Take a look at this number plate!-_mg_3238.jpg

now, what state is this from?
- KA?
- HA (he's having a laugh)
- HR?

in a hit-and-run case, it could lead to confusion.

what do you think?

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

^^ Oh man...do you see what he's done there? I think you should report it to the BTP Facebook page.

I may be wrong but it looks like a HR26 vehicle, quite common in Bangalore since IT/BPO people move from there all the time. And the digital font makes HR look like KA, so an RTO guy on the lookout for out of state plates will probably let it go!

No problem dear it is a respect we all give to each other, age has got no bar.
The punjab state do have that facility to have your old scrapped car nos.
Recently I saw a 2011 SUV in ANDHERI. with PCP XXX NO.
How about someone having PAK 911.

Its OK Iqbalji I am 34 & confused if i have to consider myself young OR old... that's why.

Theoretically PAK1 will be a real no: which exists.

Members from PB, please enlighten. Which area. Approx year.

PAK was a series in Kapurthala distt of Punjab. If I remember correctly, this series was there in 70s and upto 81 / 82. We had a Hero Majestic moped with regn number PBK 437. I think we bought it in 1982. PBK series followed PAK. Considering the number of vehicles registered at that time and Kapurthala being a small sleepy town, with not too many vehicles, PAK 1 must have been allotted around 1975 or so. In fact the number plate of official Ambassador car of Deputy Commissioner of Kapurthala was PAK 17.

Re: Take a look at this number plate!!

Today in the morning saw this new VERNA at Andheri west signal. This joker thinks he is too clever and can hoodwink the cops.

Actually he has to come across a cop who will give not ONE but TWO to THREE tight ones on his face first then later he will confiscate his MDL or maybe impound his car which must be done to such people.
NO. is 7733. but looks like 7777 from far away, in this case if this chap kills someone or rob a bank and run away in this car then the poor fellow with with 7777 will have to pay for his deeds if some one notes down the regd no of this get away car....

it seems like HR 26 BD XXXX
BD was a recent series with HR26.
if you had the full image of the car along with this number plate,it could be uploaded to gurgaon traffic police facebook page.A lot of people are being given challans this way in gurgaon & delhi. All we have to is upload the pic of the offender with the clear image of the vehicle number along with the date & time of the picture and police would send them challans.
Check out the the facebook page of Delhi Police, every day quite a few photos are uploaded.
