The second pic looks more Mustang than BMW. Anyway most of the cars are either Mondeo's or Expeditions or Daihatsu Sirions and Cuores (or the respective Toyota counterparts). Almost all the sedans are Mondeos with their tail up in the air!

It looks like a car junk yard.

THNAKs GOD, we Indians dont have to face such natural disasters.

I am sure the insurance companies will have a tough time with their finances.

Thats a dealer stockyard - all those cars are new.

Have you seen the Range Rover stockyard after Gonu?

This happened as an aftermath of Gonu, a checkdam in Muscat broke and caused havoc. There were a lot of deaths as well, but did not get much publicity in the media. They are slowly recovering from this disaster.

The amount of damage done seems pretty bad - must have been some seriously strong currents to flip a car and then bury it. I suspect it would have been a typhoon, the tree next to it is flattened as well, that cant happen in a flood - the water would have carried off the tree as it got uprooted.
