lol... don't mind my lols people. it's just a sense of resignation.

but frankly, if you stay in bangalore, don't be a software guy or a techie or stay or work anywhere south of basavanagudi. the IT zone in b'lore is inhospitable, but the rest is habitable.

One of the worst flooding and traffic jam I have ever experienced in bangalore.
Yesterday I left the office at 9:50pm from Sarjapur road and reached home in Jayangar 9th block at 12:05Am.
2:15 min to travel just 9 kms.

The worst part was I saw a couple of cab drivers trying to take a U turn over the divider near the Mantri apartments on the ORR and getting stuck and creating more chaos. One qualis blew its front tyre during this off road adventure and was completely stuck and the other indiacab driver was cooking the clutch to get his car over the divider.

I don't think the situation is going to improve today if it rains and also being a festival weekend. Took almost 1:30 mins to reach office today and I could see some localities trying to ease the traffic by directing the vehicles.

from sarjapur junction on the ORR there is one more road through yamalur which will meet airport road at IOCL bunk. this will enable one to avoid marthahalli junction totally. it is good motorable road

Hi Guys
I work in Koramangala 4th block and Stay at Basva Nagar(near HAL airport). Total Distance 10km.Left office at 10: 15pm reached home 12:30am. Route taken: Inner ring road and airport road ( total chaos on inner ring road).

Today, Decided to use outer ring road, commute time 1:30 hrs due to traffic jam at the point where one has to take right deviation from ORR to Koramangla.

I wonder what service I get for the high taxes that the state has imposed.

Highest road tax in the country with the worst roads and highest fuel prices too.

All roads were flooded.... I have never seen rain like this.

It was like a scene out of some B-grade doomsday movie .

The end is near.

My boss travelled from E-city to ITPL. he finally reached at 12:30pm a good 6 hours after leaving from E-city.

It seems even the Hosa road central jail route is jammed up since hosur road is cut off and people are trying other routes.

I took 2 hours to cover 15 kms after 5pm today. It was just a normal drive from Garuda Mall to New Bel road. Normally 20 mts drive but with the traffic lights dead at 4 main circles/junctions and the powerful flow of drainage water on road, not to mention the inefficient cops controlling at the 'no-lights' areas made everything like a never-ending drama. Reaching home was like coming from deep sea fishing. Its very tiring to drive in the rain coupled with traffic jams.
