Errr... What?

Looks like an offer of something illegal to me. I felt certain that the innocent explanation must be plain in the Tamil text, but Mrs N said that whilst she thought the shop was advertising for staff, she couldn't be sure.

Literacy not a requirement, eh? Odd... because I've always found that the staff in that shop do speak good English.

Just for the record, I think I worked it out. The supermarket, with mostly English-speaking staff, has a corner given to some people selling fancy hair clips and the like... Accessories .

Spotted this Auto Rickshaw on Airport Road.

This one has a real meaning to it.

Translating from Kannada to English for benefit of Non-Kannada BHPians.

"Saalagarara Aashirwaada, Baddidhaarara Prothsaha" , which means

(Lender's Blessings, Interester's Encouragement)

I am not able to recollect the correct word for Person who collects Interest. Hence have used Interester.

Borrower isn't the right word. Baddidhara means one who collects interest. In Kannada, Interest (In case of loan) is known as Baddi.

I am not sure if Borrower fits him.

I think there is no word for it.
