Guys, the sign commented upon almost certainly relates to "butt" in the context of a "firing range". A simple Google "firing range butt" would enlighten. English language to blame.... multiple meanings of words.... sorry to spoil the merriment...

They wouldn't want theirs to be a hyphenated
existence. Hence the preference for free running nomenclature

By Excretion, they obviously mean Excursion. Anyway, both words mean getting out, so a forgivable mistake. Don't you think?

Oh, I see. I was thinking it an advertisement for the school, perhaps on the school bus. I considered "excellence," which is a trendy marketing word, but couldn't see how they could get it that wrong.

Excursion is a better match. I think you have it right!

If you look at the bus in the picture, you will notice a Casual Contract board. Middle class schools typically hire KSRTC buses to take their children out for picnics/short tours. Smaller or economically challenged ones make do with Tempo Trax, TATA Magic etc.
