Maybe a question for the "posting in English" thread, but shouldn't it be "plunges to new lows"? I thought only heights were scaled.

Haha, that is a nice catch! I agree it should be "plunges" unless the New Indian Express measures its success with the new depths it touches and hence "scales" will be equally appropriate. Scales new heights of success by touching new depths

"Mrityu Dand Group" is what is written on it's rear windshield

Translation (if only required by someone) - "Mrityu Dand" - "Capital Punishment"

Sir, to me it appears that the B suffixed with the Dum (to make it look Dumb) is more of a photo editing work than an oversight by the hotel management. Pls confirm whether it was an actual photo taken by you or merely a social media forward.
