We have this in our office cafeteria exactly at the place where we dispose the plates and cutlery after eating. Unfortunately the numbers are much higher than what we would like to see.

Indeed. In one of offices of my previous organisation they had this information displayed in the cafeteria. Humbling it was, the sheer amount of wastage.
