How do you stick a bell on a wall? Pics of Quirky Signs

There's a bakery with the name "Tarts" near my office in Chennai. They spell it in an awkward font though; the first letter appears to almost everyone I've asked as a capital "F". I've asked family and colleagues what they make of their name...

Very unfortunate for them for having their potential customers relate their pastries with something so unsavory.

Hi locusjag. Found this from Google Maps. It indeed does look like Tarts with an 'F' from a distance. I hope this is the same one you meant.

Good to know I'm part of a group who think alike. I thought so about too about the color they chose. All in all, you won't catch me in that shop ever.

I've heard the phrase "what you get is what you see" being used by the Americans. I hope this isn't what Tarts is all about!

I am sure this must be an universal practice at upscale hotels; but finding it in a place close to nature, where water isn't really a problem, makes it extra special.

Yes, it has been. On the one hand, it is a nice way of saving hotel money, but, on the other, it is also doing good. Not just the laundry costs and the water, but all that detergent being used too. It should be universal!

Lemon Tree hotels put up similar notes on saving water. The cynic in me says they are just trying to save cost. If the don’t, I would be paying more

. On the other hand saving water is indeed very important. We are running out of clean drinking water.

This is my friend's helmet, and it has a sticker placed on it which reads - "Head Protection Technology". Now that's what a helmet does in the first place, right? Or am I missing something?
