Shot this outside the Hampshire Plaza Hotel at Lakdi Ka Pul, Hyderabad.

I have no idea what it means though.
Can cars be parked on the right and bikes on the left.
Or will they tow them away if they park them there, like that or the opposite of.
I give up.

Hmm Not noticed that towing sign. I think it means either left or right side of the sign, two and 4 wheelers will be towed. (But Autos can park as they are 3 wheelers!)

Took this passing through Kanchipuram a few months back. Been trying to figure it out. Perhaps he caters to cannibals.

Have come across the phrase "eat me" in a totally different context.

But as the sign clearly says "Veg and Non-Veg Restaurant" it may not be that type of institution.

Unless "Non-Veg Restaurant" is a particularly ingenious example of surrogate advertising.

Beer, Bear, Bare --- have to rank high among some of the most confusing spellings in English. I never know!

But I can spell Chilled! So at least I'd have got one word right, if I'd been the sign writer on that job.

Doesn't matter what it says, there still are vehicles parked right under that sign. That's India.

I think it means, in case if your 2 wheeler is missing then be advised that it has been towed to the left of the road, and for 4 wheelers to the right

Saw this sign long time back and even I was trying to figure it out!
In the evenings, there are lots of 4-wheelers parked right under that sign and I don't think they are towed!

I'd like to see that seat-belt pic stuck up in every Indian parent's car, and I'm going to print it out for my wife's son and daughter-in-law.

What would the people who made that make of a child held in one arm of a bike pillion passenger?

But hey, this thread is supposed to be funny...

Thad, On a funny note, Isn't your wife's son & daughter in law, yours too!

As for the child held in one arm of the pillion passenger, imagine a soldier carrying a Rocket Launcher!
