I remember, many years back, a new colleague collapsing in hysterics over some of my file names, like anal-1, anal-2, etc. It was short for analysis, and, previously, I hadn't thought to pronounce it any other way <blush> !

Recently saw news update in our intranet site:

Ms. Anal Chavan takes some seminar on Sewage treatment blah...blah

We were like...what!!??

and I came across our client's (US based) Purchase Order - They mentioned one of our colleague's surname Dickshit!

Well, I have an extra problem with the name Anil know, because it is one of the tiny handful of Tamil words that I know: squirrel.

The building may or may not be old, but the wiring certainly is, to the tune of ~20 years, I guess. The cracks near the window frame makes us believe that notice nonetheless

Here's some that i clicked on a drive back from rishikesh.
One is quite gross, and was actually in a ones'es loo.
What was funny was this must have been happening often enough, and costing the guy to clean up, to have put up the sign...

The longish sign was just funny, "self service in sawan only till new moon".
Raam jhula, people who've been on the ganges will get(otherwise too.dont hang me!)

Saw a patriotic taxi driver today morning (for Chennai-ites: in front of Dollars and Pounds, Adyar) with the words "Vandha Madharam" written in his registration plate. Couldn't click a picture though!!
