Saw this hair cutting saloon in poorkaji in UP when we were going towards Paonta sahib gurudwara.Dulhe ka makeup and other treatments like baal estate.There was a painting of his valued customer along with the kid on left side ,it waqs non other then our Amitabh Bachan. hahahahahhah

The name actually means what @Superslick has mentioned, but will not be available in chaat shops! What the board means here is the gravy like stuff containing peas/bengal gram, sometimes served as accompaniment to Masala Poori/cutlet/Samosa etc!

I don't have a picture of it (no cell phones with cameras then!), but I could never forget a sign board I saw while passing a village near Tuticorin in 1986. It proudly proclaimed in the vernacular "Here xerox will be taken in Tamil, English, Hindi and all Indian languages"!
