I see this sign daily and wonder what it is for. There are no restrictions on this stretch for any vehicle type or based on time of day. Traffice police are stationed a few feet ahead of this at the junction and I have never seen them restrict entry onto this road or even challan anyone. Someone please enlighten me, what am I missing.

I see a gap in the fence on the median and I think the "No Entry" sign is for anyone trying to cross from one side to the other side through the gap.

Wondering what did they make it for. pedestrians?

Off topic, I must admit that's a beautiful stretch of road unlike most of our city roads.

Back in the days when file names had to be short, I did phototypesetting. There was a large, complex order form, with a summary/analysis section. It comprised of a number of separate data files, and I called the analysis section "anal." I didn't give it a moment's thought until a new colleague looked at the file names and burst out laughing.

It took me several takes before I pronounced the one in this pic properly too!

re: Pics of Weird, Whacky & Funny stickers and badges on cars & bikes

A couple of days back I came across this at the local grocery store. He knows me well so I told him I'm taking this picture. I asked him who wrote the line, so he told me he knows it is wrong and he had given the correct version to the typist, but that guy thought he is from Oxford and put this word here

SO instead of Coconut will not be replaced. Now it will not be 'impaired'.

P.S. He was kind enough to even hold the wire while I took the pic

Anal (rhyming with "Funnel") means fire in Hindi also.

Saw this outside a small tea/coffee stall - appreciated his concern and initiative to put this up, of course lots of cups were strewn around but some people did care for the sign
