Actually, I think it is right. Wood is pronounced more like "ood" than "vood". In fact, "W" is just that - double U. So the right pronunciation would be "uuood". But this article indicates that Indians don't distinguish between "V" and "W"

There seems to be an outline of a door frame on that wall, looks like it was closed later. So, they need a sign like "Exit - In case of emergency, break wall"

Nope. That's at the City railway station, between platforms 7 and 8
