Actually, I thought that 'Executive' sized paper must be fairly common, because it is generally known as 'Executive Bond' paper - it is thicker (120 or 150 gsm) with a subtle off-white colour, and there are varieties which have minute rippled surface, which gives them a nice heavy texture.

Just remembered something more from dot matrix printer days - there used to be a 'fanfold' (i.e. continuous stationery) and a separate German standard 'fanfold' - these sizes had to be separately indented from paper suppliers, as they were not usually used.
