It is better here, showing only a kilometre difference. One should see the milestones enroute Sabarimala from Erumely. One says it is 40 km and the very next, barely a few yards down the road, says 18 km, followed by another which says 39 kilometres.

Yes dear, I have seen in hilly areas of Uttaranchal, the villagers will just remove the first number painted distance and leave the next one intact.For example 16 kms will be shown as 6 kms with 1 missing.This is done just for fun.

Remember the good old days when we use to have soft drinks like Thrill and Rush? I remembered a wacky thing that my friend had done at his home. He cut out names of these two soft drinks from advertisements in newspapers / magazines. He then pasted one each on either side of his washroom door!

The outside of the door would read "Rush" and inside "Thrill"!!
