It is a mystery to me too. They always insist that they have not operated the window. But upon checking, it is rolled down slightly. Does not happen when I am driving alone or with other passengers, so I am guessing these people subconsciously rest their hand on the lever and maybe fiddle with it.

I guess pretty much everyone has summed it up.

But one things that annoys me specially of people from Pune is

You ask co-passenger to put on seat belt and they calmly reply, "No it is no compulsory in Pune city."
Earlier I used to get angry. Now I calmly reply saying, "If we are in accident then airbags won't deploy and I will have to carry you to hospital. And you are fat"
Works every time specially with girls.

Most annoying is a passenger bending over from the rear seat to adjust the ice volume, etc even though the manufacturers have provided a remote solely for that purpose.

Once my "met for first time" friends' uncle sits in my car and orders me to switch on the AC when i am climbing a steep.

I had a friend who stopped the car on the road, got down and walked home because his father was doing the back seat driving.

In addition to nearly all of the above points:

1) Not opening the door completely before they exit, and as a result kicking the speaker grilles/leaving foot-marks on the door (!)

2) Slamming the door (Grrrrrrrrrrrrr...).

3) Putting something that rattles like mad on the dashboard.

4) Putting a wet umbrella on the dashboard.

5) Throwing/dunking stuff into the boot from inside without asking/warning me.

Believe me, I'm tempted to do the same very often.

the most annoying thing that always happens to me without fail is that the co-passengers at the rear always pull the front bucket seats either during braking or if they need something from the front side or to just to see the road!

this is most annoying and also broke me M800's seat i had to get it welded as the gear ended with broken teeth! most annoying, cant they just use the handle provided to then above each window? why the hell the seats why?

Another thing that really annoys me is when people hold the door lever from inside or outside before the car is unlocked. The central locking system in the santro gets totally screwed because of this and when I unlock the doors while they hold the door lever it gets jammed and I have to instruct them to let go of it and have to lock and unlock it again.

Besides that I sometimes get annoyed when people try to talk to me when I need to concentrate. I love talking otherwise but I need silence when I need to overtake or somthing and people think Im really rude when I told them to hold on for a second.

Another thing which annoys me is when my phone rings when Im driving and the co passenger offers to answer it for me, Its annoying enough that Im getting a call when Im driving and Id rather you not make it worse by talking to my friends

The worst I face is slamming the doors as if the vehicle is a Ashok Leyland Truck, not a Car!

I had to replace the central locking system in my Santro twice because of this problem. The present system has lasted me two years and still going strong.

Another problem is that people operate the door locks manually when you have an Autocop or a central locking system. I eventually got rid of my Autocop because of its unreliability. I think central locking will not get spoilt because of manual operation of door locks provided they are not done simultaneously. Nevertheless it irritates when people do not have the patience to wait till I operate the central locking.

What if the car is not built like a ashok leyland truck but like a tank?
