Yeah agree to that. In Hyderabad Skodas are generally driven sober, maybe because everyone here drives at a decent pace?

I am not very sure that Skodas are driven rash compared to others. However in general chauffeurs are the problem in most cases and more Skodas are Chauffer driven than owner driven. This could be a reason for the observation.

Even I have observed Octys driven badly.
Some Octys are chauffer driven. Others are driven by minister's chelas. And some rich dad kids. And some new 'rich' guys who suddenly became rich (and are uneducated and uncivilized) by investing in stocks, by selling ancestral property, etc. Some lesser educated and lesser civilized goons. These are the people I have seen are attracted to Octys and Scorpios rather than any other car in that segment. They normally graduate from an Omni or a Bolero.

Corolla is one of the most best and sanely driven cars I have seen in that segment. Haven't seen a single Corolla being driven rash till now.

No offense meant to t-bhp guys.

Surprising really. At least here in Chennai, I have never seen a Skoda being driven like that. Maybe because they are chauffeur driven.

There are plenty of those on the roads here in Mumbai. And they drive like they are doing the roads and other cars a favour by driving on the roads and with other cars. And they will go at 40 kmph and refuse to give way and when you overtake them somehow - the look on the drivers face says it all - "What are you driving ? A Skoda / Merc / Hyundai ? Sheeaaa - Look at me I drive a Honda !"

Maybe its because that Skoda drivers never manage to catch up ...Hehehe

Octavias are generally driven quite rashly in Delhi atleast for sure and almost all Octavias here are fitted with 17" chrome alloys for some reason!

I have seen a few Skoda folks too driving rash, yet I think an average skoda driver is mostly better than Indicabs. IMHO I have seen more tall boys doing circus than Skodas.
