Bangalore - Ahmedabad (1560 Kilometers, 28 hours)
and again
Bangalore - Ahmedabad (1560 Kilometers, 24 hours)

No stops except food and fuel.

Trivandrum - Bangalore - Aprox 750KMs, done is 16 hours, stops for food and fuel, in my Swift (and the retrurn trip also)

Goa - Trivandrum - Aprox 1000KMs, 30% bad and pathetic roads and heavy rains, done in 30 hours, riding my Bullet 500. That was an insane riding day and night, but the situation needed me urgently back home.

I have done a trivandrum - vellore trip in my santro.I had stoped at one reliance a1 for some tea and a pee.Started off at 8pm and reached vellore by next day afternoon 2pm.Stayed there till 5pm and returned to trivandrum.It would roughly be 1200-1250 kms i suppose and it was single drive all along.

sir i'm no better, i've done 150 km that too in ludhiana just roaming here and there with a friend in i think 4 hrs and with linkin park screaming.

I think I had replied in this thread before but I cant' seem to find it. Anyways, I had (and still have) the best job in the world. I was (and still am) a test engineer. Now I control operations, but that's another story. So somebody else pays for the fuel (great !). My target to my team is 1000 kms everyday day-after-day. Location is between Panvel and Dehu Road (Mumbai Pune expressway) but that hardly matters. Regulars on this road would have seen cars with red number plates zipping by. That's us. A test of 20000 kms is considered "small". 1,50,000 kms is "normal". We just don't let up at all. I have done Mumbai Delhi Simla and back, Mumbai Chennai and back, Mumbai Nagpur Kolkata and back where the target was 800 kms daily.

Recently I drove my left hand drive Premier Padmini from Kottayam to Mumbai. There is a travelogue somewhere in this forum.

We do what a "normal" guy would never imagine doing. So finally cars delivered from showrooms do what they are supposed to do - THEY WORK.

I've had the pleasure of many non stop long drives/road trips.

2937 kilometers or 1825 miles, from Minneapolis, MN, to Reno, NV.

2886 kilometers or 1793 miles, from Minneapolis, MN to Miami, FL.

2668 kilometers or 1658 miles, from Minneapolis, MN to Las Vegas, NV.

2201 kilometers or 1368 miles, from Minneapolis, MN to Hilton Head, SC.

1978 kilometers or 1229 miles, from Minneapolis, MN to Edmonton Canada.

And many many many other road trips in the 1600 kilometer/1000 mile range all over the country.

I truly enjoy road trips and look forward to any opportunity to drive cross country.
