A sweet experience / How a smile made my morning ride!

Guys,

Let me post this sweet little feeling I got on the road yesterday. Yes, you read it right - on the road. Since every morning I log in to see people raving and ranting about traffic, I decided to post this.

Yesterday evening I left my factory and in Vashi, I stop at a red light. I am listening to 93.5 Red FM when an auto pulls up to the left of me and stops. I look up in the direction of the auto (checking how close to me he has stopped) and I can see a girl and a sardarji boy in the auto. Both are dressed in shirts and trousers, they look like executives and seem like colleagues. I look aaway and fiddle with the radio. There are still 90 seconds to go before the signal turns green.

Looking around at the world, my eyes wander over to the auto and I can see that the girl is saying something to the guy and finger pointing angrily at him. The guy is listening quietly. Suddenly the girl pulls out a 5 star chocolate from her purse and unwraps it. She offers it to the guy who is now angry with her and refuses. So the girl simply takes a bite of the bar and (I guess) tells the guys smilingly that she won't share the bar with him. The guy smiles at this and tries to take the bar and the girl tries not to give it to him. Both are smiling and laughing away.

The signal turns green and I pull away with a warm feeling in my heart. It's still the small things in life that bring a smile to our faces daily.

Heart-warming stuff....

I tend to beleive that these kinda instances keep happeneing around us most of the time, we just tend to miss them due to our own momentary mental anguish & fatigue.

I for one, try to stop and allow ppl to cross roads - whenever possible.

Many times, i have a face turning towards me to wave away saying thank you with a smile. Enough to make me feel proud of myself really.

maybe this is what can be termed as - Zoor ka jhatka, dheere se.!!!

Cheers & happy driving.

You are good and great to know you get appreciated. 99% of the time I stop to allow some one to cross the road, I get waved off by them to proceed with a look as if I did a mistake!

never understood why this happens!

These kind of small fun is always common in College Students. I'm missing a lot those things. I'll share a small conversation which really happened in my college.. we few of our friends are sitting in a tea stall outside our campus.

Manoj: Dei tomorrow is valentines day why dont you go and propose Priyanka nice opportunity.

Prakash: No No i wont

Kumar: Why machi are u scared she will slap you, its all common da while proposing a girl

Prakash: No da if she slaps thats a great pleasure for me, I will show my other cheek too

Me: Then are you scared that she will go and complain to HOD?

Prakash: he he who is scared for that Old guy, im not scared of him

Manoj: Then are you scared she will go and complain to Dean or Principal? Dont worry we will all come and support your true love you have for her if any such thing happens. You think we will keep quiet if you get in any such problem.

Prakash: No im not scared of princy too

Kumar: Then wats the problem in proposing her tomorrow man

Prakash: :Im not scared of anyone if she is gonna complain with but my only worry is when i go and propose her what if she accepts me and say "I too love you" and starts loving me - then i will be in a very big trap :(

forgot to mention in earlier post ... it happened in a road side tea stall just outside my college campus so it fits into this thread he he

Stuff like this happens around us everyday. In our madness to get to work, to finish our duties, to pay our bills, we forget to look.

Nice. Thanks NC.

its the little things that bring a smile our face and make us forget our problems and worries, though just for a moment but it surely helps.

The world that we live in ;
Is mighty hard to beat;
We get a thorn with every rose ;
But, ain't the roses sweet.

Didn't you seen any cameras ? Are you sure they weren't shooting a commercial ? Just kidding. Would have been a nice moment.
