oh! it happened again.

same situation as stated in first post.
same time: 0630 -7000 pm,
same car-my alto
same mirror-right side rvm
same condition-biker in between my car and a truck
place- Aurangabad city not Baramati.

Its my bad luck,
i have to change the orvm again,
but this time, not at maruti showroom but local garage,
this costed me rs 220 against rs 386 at maruti showroom during last incident.

I have to take care.
Hope, hat-trick will not happen.

Ashish,

Good to know that the damage was minimal and thank god that nothing happened to the biker (even though he was driving reckless). Imagine, if something has happened to him as you stated was a possibility, what trauma would you have gone through apart from other legal issues.

Anyways, this is the most common casualty to the cars on Pune roads. My Indica has been through these experiences a multiple times now. IN order to protect mirror, there is a arrest guard available with B U Bhandari A.S.S. that has saved my mirrors atlest 2-3 times from falling to the ground and getting smashed. Not sure if something similar is available for Alto. You might want to check on that.

Anyways,

takecare and drive safely
