Whats the point of repairing that...it will never be like before. Might as well file it for a total loss.

well there is not much to do for repairing. What could be the repairs?
  • Body work
  • Painting
  • Damaged Accessories replacements
  • Maybe Suspension replacement
  • Don't think the engine or any such component was damaged to be called a write-off.
The car can be restored as good as it is now, maybe even better.

P.S. Whatever has to be done with the car, lets just leave it to Mr Choksey. He'll know best what to do about the car, specially after owning great cars and having such a huge collection.

Yeah, the thing that will be done is....repair it and then sell it off to an unsuspecting buyer (Look ma, this car sure can handle...)

In such major accidents , its always best to get the car declared as total loss .
No matter how good, better equipped the service center is , its not possible to get the car back in shape(i was told this from my Skoda dealer, when i met with accident) , it may look very much the same from outside but once you get behind the wheels ,the truth ll be revealed .

But again , its not in the owners hand to get the car declared as "Total loss" . Only if the repair costs of the car exceeds 75% of the car's IDV, then it is considered as a Total loss car . Looking at the pics , it doesn't seem that way .

hey dude there is no way you can get the exact story because every person you ask will have a differnt story to tell.some will say he waas drunk others will say it was not at ll his fault.the point is not in finding out the story but in learnin from it.at this point of time when we here what happened a chill might run down our spine. and a few minutes later well probably be speeding just like him.after hearing all about this and seeing these pictures we must remember as quoted before " GREAT POWER COMES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY ".we should use that power responsibly whether it in the car or bike or even yourself.when you are strong you have to be very responsible and use that power responsibly

DRIVE SAFE GUYS FOR YOURSELF,GIRLFRIENDS,FRIENDS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR YOUR FAMILY. !!

Tell me you're joking! Yes, you may be able to get the car to LOOK like new, but there is no way in hell this car will ever drive the same way it did.

The monocoque itself is damaged. How well do you think it can be repaired in a Service center?

I pity the unsuspecting person who ends up owning this car. Beware any RS's on sale for "CHEAP"!
