H2 is not a real Hummer. Just looks wise it is made like Hummer.
H2 shares the GMT820 platform with Tahoe and Yukon, but it is also somewhat different.
The front used modified GM2500 series frame, the midsection is new box-section and rear is modified GM1500 series frame.

So its for sure not a real Hummer. There is only one real hummer available for public and it is H1

Dear Brabus,
First things first, Nice name /car ( brabus)
Secondly if anyone here convinces me this is a HUMMER, i am going to because like you rightly say it is a " wuss " a indian handcart tyre joint would be stronger than "this wheel fell off the vehicle pictorial scene"

As for that censored wording, i had to put it up, i mean there is still no other way to describe the bling bling cosmetic of that tyre and the way in which it came out.

Man you sure are cold hearted, they did report injuries, but then the whole espisode is Hilarious !!!

On an ending note i am so glad i didnt buy the swift, and bought the estillo instead.

very happy about the face that they totalled the swift.
Why are you guys saying that the Swift was totalled? Am I missing something here because from the pictures it seems like the Swift has held up pretty well.

I am not about this. But as far as i remember the hummer was used by the american army.and then later on it was made street legal and put into production but the one used by the army is like a tank with wheels its bulletproof and bomb proof and all. This is jus like any other suv

Doesnt that part belong to the hummer?

Abhik/Rohan,

Google it, you will find lots of links about the H2 and H3 being based on the Tahoe. They are rubbish cars/jeeps/trucks, whatever you want to call them. Never driven one, but i belive they are'nt as capable off-road either. The original H1 was built like a tank and thats the one the US srmy uses.

Just happened to come across this thread. Wondering if the yellow Hummer is the same that featured in the movie 'Shaitaan'?

Come on guys! Look what just a wheel over the Swift did, and I don't see any major dents on the hummer. Had it been a head on and had the swift really hit the front fender of the 'supposedly' H2 (and not gone under and launched the H2 into the air :lol) , the Swift would have become unrecognisable. Well, this what I feel, the swift isn't a winner but I would call it a draw because the Swift probably managed to disable the Hummer and got the owners some cash out from the H2 lunatics!
