Maintaining Santro on a Stone

Hi Guys,

The other day I was talking to someone over the phone in my parked car outside an ATM. I saw this car coming with two fat people getting out and surprising this santro's one rear wheel was on a stone and despite these people getting out of the car and car shaking it stayed on the wheel..

I thought this was a nice moment pic and clicked it.

Poor lighting and iphone may not give good effect though.

Mods: I couldnt figure out where to put this one, hence put it here.

Wow what sense does it make to load your tyre on a stone , i've seen people putting stones so that the car doesn't roll away but this is .....

but its quite amazing how the driver managed to park it in such a unique way. Balanced on the stone perfectly !.

And the whole idea is??

I don't see what's so unique in this!

Any car's tyre can roll over a firmly planted stone on the road. It shoots off like a rocket in some cases.

You mean to say the guys parked the car then noticed that one wheel was on the stone. So they tried to push/shake it but it stayed on the stone - they left !

Didnt they try to simply put the car in reverse and bring the wheel down ? Put the car in nuetral and roll it down from the stone ?

Amazing guys !!

N_C - He probably meant that these people parked like that unaware. And even while getting off the car, when the car shaked and moved, the stone remained intact under the tyre.

It just shows how a Santro maintains its "balance" on a stone.

Really, this thread has no meaning.

Guys,

You all are right...

The novelty is that the tyre was maintaining on that stone, despite the fact that two people got out and the car didnt drop from the stone.

Not a big stone, and maintained balance like that unknowingly (not by interntion)

Thought of sharing the pics with fellow Bhpians, though this post doesnt give something unique.

In SHort: Nothing special about it, just a street experience,

Nice moment!
Pretty unique - never seen something like this.
Seen cars with one wheel on a bump or a flatter larger stone - but this one takes the cake.
Had some fun and a grin looking at the pic.
A few others didn't find it entertaining I guess.... but I did. Thanks for sharing it!

And guys the moral/s of the story ?
1. A rolling stone gathers no moss.
2. Don't get ''stoned'' and drive.
3. While driving please concentrate and maintain a stony silence.
4. And finally - People who live in glass houses don't throw...yeah you guessed it...stones !

"In some countries, women get stoned when they commit adultery. Unlike Britain, where women get stoned and then commit adultery."

Quote (slightly modified) from "The Bishop's Gambit" - Yes, Prime Minister

Totally OT, of course.
