whenever some idiot is coming with full beam towards you focus your attention to lower left side where light is relatively less as you don't get temporary blindness
have been using it for a long time

fine in theory, but here is what happened this saturday...
Saturday night, me and a friend were driving down the road that goes from Tidel Park to Old Mahabalipuram (Chennaites, Be careful on this road full of all sorts of booby traps) on his Zen....
There was a truck with high beam coming on from the other side imparing our visibility so he turned his gaze to the left and slowed down to 30 (Fortunately).....All of a sudden, there is this big thud and the car starts rocikng like a tiny boat on high tide....

Turned out that the vehicle hit a divider which had no markings/signs whatsoever ....Since we were gng slow, fortunately, we didn't get hurt at all....
The poor car however got a broken steering linkage, damaged ball joint, bent rim and 1 wasted tire ...Expected repair bill...30K...

The wheel had got bent and the brakes had got locked on the car so we couldn't even move the vehicle away...From 9PM to 12 PM, the car was in the middle of the road and not a single traffic cop/tow vehicle came...After severlaphone calls, the Maruti ABT care (Guindy) folks sent us a tow away vehicle at 12PM.....
