Good choice, and wishing your car a speedy recovery.

Check for water leak and paint quality, before you sign the delivery note at the dealers.

Sorry to read about this.

Looking at thread title, i thought incident may occurred in Kerala but...... .

Go for insurance and rs 8000 is too much from your pocket.

Pune honda owners have always some problem with this dealer.

My friends bought cars from kolhapur dealer rather than this Deccan Honda.

Just got the car back, total expense was 25,600. Insurrance covered around 19,500 and I had to pay 6500 from pocket.
They did a pretty good job, looking at the car it doesnt look like it had any dents in it or anything, overall a good job.

Good to hear your Civic is back and doing well. Why don't you post some pics of the repaired portion?

Good to know that your Civic is back to shape! By the way, can you please furnish a break-up of that 25,600 figure? Apart from the Rs 6500 you had to shell out, didn't you have to cough up Rs 1000 for the insurance claim? (it is Rs 500 for cars below 1.5 horsepower)
