I would definitely like to come along next time. Do let me know when you would be going next. Of course getting up that early in the morning would be quite hard.

Hey Agg_Anush,

Getting up early to drive on sunday is actually good fun. among other things it ensures that you stay sober the previous night ;-)

Another thing that I have realized over the last 6 months, is that, if you want to really push your car and you live in a city, there are only 2 times when you can do it. Late night drive in the city or an early morning drive out of town.

The issue with the late night drive in bangalore:
1. its never too late for the BPO taxis. at 1230 in the night on any given day, old madras road is Bl**dy crowded
2. too many people on the road, driving hard, after one too many pegs
what say.....
3. Visibility is always a problem at night

and steer, yeah, "im driven when it comes to drives" ;-)

Rahul, i have gone solo on a couple of long drives around Bangalore and i found the afternoon period to be quite good as well. Not much traffic between 1 PM and 4 PM. Most truckers come out in the night, and most two wheelerists are enjoying a siesta at that time, plus visibility is pretty good.
But all said n done, nothing can beat the early morning driving pleasures...

Cheers

Rudra sir

Great pics. I was thinking it's an SLR with some filters until you mentioned it's a Nokia. You are the man.

BTW, great write up...asusual.
