I guess they were from SuchirIndia.

I found some guys / gals doing the same in JH CheckPost and notices that somewhere on their tees, Suchir India was mentioned.

I agree that though it was a good awareness gesture, they should avoid wearing the face masks. It would only create panic rather than awareness.

They were at Jubilee Hills Checkpost as well.

On the road from the TDP office signal to Checkpost, in bumper to bumper traffic this morning, saw a guy on a scooter with a notice stuck on the back of his backpack. It said: "IF EACH ONE OF US IS IN A SEPARATE BIGGGG CAR, TRAFFIC????" Whenever he had to stop, which was often, he would gesture to the different cars, raise his hands as if to say "What's happening?" and then point to the notice.

Had to admire his spirit - not many people would be willing to risk being laughed at in order to spread a messsage.

Thats My home just before the cybergate signals on the left side.

I reckon GLASS meant the other parallel road which is from Mehdipatname to Gachibowli, so there was another indigo owner facing the same predicament, what a coincidence

Thank God I left office by 6 pm today---it started raining just when I was crosssing Spar.
I pity the guys who got stuck. Drive safe, guys!
As of now Raj Bhawan road is smooth as far as traffic is concerned.

Update:
I left office at 9:30 PM and after taking the U turn at the new flyover construction on Kukatpally road, I was scared to see a pile up beginning right from Cyber towers, towards Madhapur. (this not being the first time!)

Took a deviation, went inside Hi-Tech city again and reached home via the whisper valley road! Was a breeze to drive with nil traffic!

There was a massive pile-up from Reliance Foot Print to almost the Khairtabad X-Rodas. Took me 45 minutes to cross. Reason Reliance Foot Print to almost Shell Petrol Pump had 3 lines submerged. So vehicles only had 1/2 a lane to drive and that also with 6 inches of water.

Reached Reliance Foot print and got my Storm into the deep water and was out at Shell in less than 30 seconds. Benefits of having a jeep . Downside, rear drums are wet and hence not working properly. Should be ok by morning.

Indeed, there was a light green Indigo owner and a biker in tussle on that road at around 1 pm!

Tucked my jeans into my boots.
Put on all helmet over my kafiyeh.
Laptop bag inside a plastic bag, I keep specifically for this purpose.
Strapped it on the rear seat.

Gloves and all set to tackle the rain.

Took the Durgam Chevuru road.
Encountered water logging on the usual stretch.
No traffic jam anywhere.

Was a fantastic ride, home.
So glad I came by bike instead of the car.

Imran, you are lucky. My colleague returned on his bike yesterday, but his cell phone stopped working!

returned to Hyd yesterday eve. The moment our flight touched down (6PM) the skies opened up, and we drove back from teh airport to Gachibowli via the ORR in pouring rain- what a lovely drive....for once, since i was in a cab and not driving, I could savour the amazing lightning flashes, thick dark coulds and the lovely sound of rain drops pelting down hard, and i mean HARD! hope this is not a flash in teh pan and we have more such days before the season is out.

Also, the lake in my office was full upto the brim this morning ! YAY!

Arun, that's a pretty good suggestion. We can do a nice drive to Gandipet and Himayathsagar lake ( good ops for photography) and as usual retire to the cool confines of one of many dhabas dotted in that area
