Mihir Dharkar in an Accident! One Dead!!

Well Sad to read about it, but its true. They still dont know wetehr it was Mihir driving or his friend. Apparently the car ran over a cyclist, hit an auto and killed one person too!

Cyclist run over by youth in sports car - Mumbai - Cities - The Times of India

A lot of tbhpians know him so it is going to be a bag of mixed feelings.

Other papers have mentioned that it was Mhir Driving at over 100kmph on a service road.

Obviously this article speaks of the same incident? Must have been at a pretty high rate of speed to kill the bicycle guy on the spot, and cause critical injury to an auto driver!

Mihir is just 20 yrs old? I think all of us should not be judgmental enough to assume that a sports car involved in an accident would mean high speeds, careless, reckless driving etc. For all you know it could be a case of the cyclist jumping onto the road as well? So I think we should await the complete story to come through. As we know press loves to glorify such incidents.

At the end of it, I hope justice is served to all. Mihir is an excellent driver, hard to assume he lost control of a 350Z that too on hitting a cyclist.

thats sad to hear this, but i am gut sure it wouldnt have been mihir's fault,as i have met him many times had a couple of chats with him,his driving skill set is safe, the service road from vileparle to andheri is very over crowded you can hardly take your car above 20-40km.

RIP to the lost soul very unfortunate incident

Right! The cyclist also could have been doing very high speeds.

Mihir Dharkar, 21, was at the wheel. Dharkar, a resident of Amarnath Tower on Yari Road, Andheri (west), told the cops that he was relative of an MP from Vidarbha, said sources.

At least he'll get out of the case then...a criminal record for someone so young will not bode well. At least it wasn't a hit-and-run case. Kudos to Mihir for being brave and doing the right thing by sticking around.

God bless the family of the victim and may Mihir pull through this as well.

@f450: Seriously dude? The lesser of the kind above on our roads the better it is.

Anyone seen the ad of Pepsi? "Jaanta hai mera baap kon hai?"
